60,000 BTU, 96% AFUE

The Bosch BGH96-series BGH96M060B3B has an input of 60,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 57,000 BTU. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while the remaining 5% is lost out the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All 90% or higher furnaces require plastic/PVC venting, and if you need it to be metal venting a furnace with an efficiency of 80% is required. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, it can be converted to utilize liquid propane fuel by using the LP conversion kit that comes standard with this furnace.

Warranty

Bosch offers a 20 year heat exchanger and 10 year parts limited warranty. All other Bosch parts or components installed in the field have a 1 year parts warranty.
