In many cases, this air handler is intentionally larger than the paired condenser to maintain overall system efficiency. Please note that to enable cooling, an outdoor condenser is required. Additionally, the unit can support electric heating as a standalone electric furnace or as a backup for a heat pump, which incurs an additional cost for field installation.
