The RunTru by Trane A5AC4036A1 air conditioner condenser has an output of 3 tons, generally enough to cool up to a medium size house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. The cabinet of RunTru by Trane units are extremely durable. On the A5AC4036A1, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.

1.5 - 2.5 Tons

The Runtru by Trane A5AHC003A1B3 air handler is rated for an output of 1.5 - 2.5 tons. In many cases, this air handler will be larger in tonnage than the condenser it is paired with to maintain the unit's overall efficiency. Please note that for this unit to provide cooling, an outdoor condenser is required for it to function. The unit can support electric heating as a straight electric furnace or as a backup for a heat pump, offered at an additional cost to be field installed.

A TXV kit is already installed on the unit so your installer does not have to install one, decreasing installation costs. For durability, the A5AHC003A1B3 air handler is designed with an extremely strong, one-piece outer casing to protect the unit, and the coil is designed with corrosion-resistant aluminum.

The A5AHC003A1B3 air handler has an efficient 4-speed direct drive blower motor, providing stable temperatures in your home and making you more comfortable. The control board will automatically communicate with your thermostat to adjust the output of the blower to suit your needs.

This electric heat kit pairs with your RunTru by Trane air handler to provide extra heat and help your system keep you comfortable. With this option, you won't need an additional circuit.

This 4 kW 13,100 BTU Electric Heat Kit includes a circuit breaker, and the control and power wiring use a single polarized plug to connect the heater and air handler. This electric heat kit is designed to work with Trane RunTru air handlers and can be used in a wide variety of configurations.
