OVERVIEW

Inverter condenser - Inverter technology changes AC power to DC, allowing the compressor inside your condenser to speed up and slow down. This allows the system to self-adjust BTU output based on demand. As the weather changes, so will your system output.

Learning system - This system is packed with sensors and controls air temperature inside and outside, system performance, duct pressure, refrigerant temperature. The first time you start your system it enters a learning mode keeping air moving across the sensors and storing information so future startups and run cycles will be at max efficiency.

Size for heat - The self-adjusting inverter design allows you to size your system based on heat demand. With standard heat pumps, sizing for heat can mean a muggy house during summer. The ACiQ Next Gen 2-ton heat pump system automatically adjusts to run like a 1 ton to keep you cool and dry.

Extreme Heat Technology - Extreme Heat means extended temperature range heating all the way down to -22°. Traditional heat pumps don't make significant heat below about 30°F outside temperature, below that, they rely on expensive backup electric heat. The ACiQ Next Gen with Extreme Heat uses the inverter to vary the refrigerant flow, allowing for maximum heat extraction during extreme cold temperatures. The backup electric heat supplements the heat pump, and only takes over below -22°F. The heat pump gives 100% at 0°F, and still gives 80% at -22°F, saving you up to 75% on cold weather heating bills.

Customer Questions
What happens if this breaks down?
HVACDirect.com gives you lifetime tech support. Many common problems can be solved with a phone call to us. HVACDirect.com is an authorized dealer of ACiQ, therefore equipment we sell carries the full manufacturer's warranty. The warranty applies to all parts. You have to register the products online in order to extend the warranty to the full 10 years, otherwise the term is 5 years. If a part fails under warranty, you will not pay anything for the replacement part. Should a part fail under warranty, the first step is to have a professional confirm what part needs to be replaced. Then, contact us at [email protected] or by calling and asking for customer service.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
If you are present during drop-off and you see obvious signs of damage or rough handling in transit - please ask the driver to wait while you inspect the equipment. If it is damaged badly enough that you believe it can not function, you have the right to refuse the damaged portion of the shipment. If you discover the damage after the driver has left, take photos of the damage and send them to [email protected]. Please refer to your order number in the email. This starts the process and one of our representatives will be in touch with you promptly.
How can I find an installer?
It’s easier than you think – the key is to find an independent contractor or small company as opposed to a larger HVAC service. A one or two person outfit will do the work more quickly and cheaply than a bigger company, too. Yelp.com, Thumbtack.com, and Porch.com are websites are designed to help you connect with a professional in your area. You could also place a call to the last professional who did work on your home and see if they have any recommendations.
Should I order a new lineset?
Our top recommendation – protect your investment by replacing your lineset when you replace your air conditioning. Leftover oil and or contaminants in the old lineset can enter your new system and reduce the lifespan. If, on the other hand, you wish to avoid replacing the lineset, we do carry flush kits to clean out incompatible oils and contaminants.
