Fantech DBF 4XL Dryer Exhaust Fan 188 CFM Single Phase - DBF 4XL

This Fantech product, model DBF 4XL, is a dryer exhaust fan. It features a pressure switch that automatically activates the exhaust fan once the dryer is on. This fan helps your dryer run efficiently by removing the moist, warm air from the dryer duct. This model is equipped with a 5-foot cord with a plug for 120V/1~ power supply.

NOTE

• Avoid using rigid PVC pipes or flexible ducts
• Use only steel or aluminum ducts rated for dryer use, which have smooth walls on which lint is less likely to build up
• If the dryer duct stays warm, it is less likely to form condensation and collect lint; make sure to wrap the duct in insulation if you are running the dryer duct through unconditioned space
• To avoid clogging lint over the exhaust fan impeller, install a secondary lint trap (DBLT 4W) to filter the air, catch the lint, and protect the fan and ductwork
• The less lint accumulation, the better your dryer performs
• When the run of the dryer duct exceeds 40 feet with no bends, 35 feet with one bend, or 30 feet with two bends, the fan should be added to effectively maintain dryer exhaust in duct runs up to 130 linear feet
