We are building a new garage. Will this system work in Northern Wisconsin with our cold winters?

Thank you for your question. The size of system (BTU output) you will need is dependent upon a few factors such as square footage, climate zone, number of windows and quality of insulation. For Wisconsin, you will need about 50 to 60 BTUs per square foot. For more information on sizing, please reference our Sizing Guide This particular system heats with outdoor temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit. However, if you require heating with a lower outdoor temp, we have many single zone systems that heat even with negative outdoor temperatures. Thank you for your question. This system efficiently heats with outdoor temperatures ranging from 15 degrees Fahrenheit and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. It efficiently cools with outdoor temperatures ranging from 15 degrees Fahrenheit and 115 degrees Fahrenheit. How do you use as a heater?
