Are these units pre-charged with refrigerant?

Goodman brand are leaders in pre-charged AC units meaning this unit will be pre-charged with the proper amount of refrigerant sealed under pressure inside the lines when the ductless heat pump is purchased. If you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call! Thanks.

I have a new 3.5 ton Goodman A coil, if I purchase a 2.5 ton Goodman condenser will they work together?

In many instances, Goodman matches evaporator coils that are of a larger tonnage than the condenser. However, we would need to know the model number of the coil you have to confirm that it will work in this instance. We always recommend getting a certified Goodman matched setup like the combinations we have on our site. When provided with the model number of the coil we can confirm that it is a certified match with this condenser. If it isn't a manufacturer match it can have performance and warranty implications. We do recommend that you give us a call so that we can confirm that it will match and also answer any further questions you may have. Thanks.

Can you clean the condenser outside with air or low water pressure ?

Great question. Per the installation manual, page 11 states the following: "Likewise, it is important to keep the outdoor coil clean. Dirt, leaves, or debris could also restrict the airflow. If cleaning of the outdoor coil becomes necessary, hire a qualified servicer. Inexperienced people could easily puncture the tubing in the coil. Even a small hole in the tubing could eventually cause a large loss of refrigerant. Loss of refrigerant can cause poor operation and/or severe equipment damage."
