Is this too big for a 1000 square foot home? Could you use it with a 1.5 ton condenser?

Thank you for your question. Yes, it can be used with a 1.5 ton condenser. However, unless you reside in Maine or way up north that combination is not recommended for most climates. For example, in the Midwest 1000 sq. ft. will be a 2 ton with 80% 80k. In the south or southwest it would be 2 ton with 40k. In the pacific northwest it would be 1.5 ton with 50k. The climate is one of the determining factors in what size a 1000 sq. ft. space will require. For more assistance, please give us a call.
