Questions and Answers

Customer Questions
Is the on/off setpoint for the electric duct heater adjustable?
The electric heat element is the second stage of a 2 stage heat pump. Sometimes referred to as "Aux Heat" or "Emergency Heat", operating parameters are generally controlled by the thermostat controlling the whole system. Since this system can be operated with any 2 stage, 24v thermostat, specifics for setup will vary. But the setup you use to control the second stage heating will control the electric duct heater. When the electric duct heater is on, the heat pump will be off. For more assistance, please give us a call.
