Can I set the unit on a concrete floor and plug into my 50 amp for standby heating?

This unit heater cannot be installed on the floor, concrete or otherwise. It cannot be installed anywhere less than 6 feet from the floor. Failing to adhere to those instructions increases your risk of a fire occurring. For additional information on combustible clearances, please refer to the installation instructions located in the product specifications. How many square ft. will this unit heat?
