The Watson McDaniel HD-13-N main regulating valve is a full port 3/4” NPT ductile iron valve rated for use with an incoming pressure between 15 – 300 psig. This package includes a PP-Y pressure pilot for controlling a downstream pressure between 3-25 PSI (yellow spring). The PP series pressure pilot can maintain a downstream pressure within ± 1 PSI which makes it suitable for most industrial applications. Within boiler feed systems, a pressure reducing valve is typically used on deaerators to control the tank pressure.
