In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be higher, maintaining the efficiency of the system. Please note that this condenser requires an indoor coil or air handler to function and can only provide heat down to around 35°F. If you require heat at lower temperatures, a backup heat strip will be needed for straight electric heating in a compatible air handler.
