Warranty Coverage

It doesn't matter when it happens, whenever your HVAC system fails you need fixed. No worries, we have you covered. We will work with you to provide any warranty covered part that your unit needs. Accordingly, make sure you review and are familiar with the terms, language, and/or requirements for any applicable manufacturer's warranty.

How Do I Register My Warranty?

In most cases a licensed professional must have either fully installed or inspected your equipment before and including turning on the product(s) during initial start-up. After the initial start-up has been completed the professional will provide you with a dated installation invoice detailing the model(s) and applicable serial number(s) of the equipment.

Some manufacturers also require registration with them of the product(s) installed within the first 30-60 days from installation / initial start-up to validate and receive the product(s) full warranty coverage. Restrictions due apply, see manufacturers documentation shipped along with the product(s) or refer to applicable manufacturer's website for an up-to-date warranty terms. Warranty validation is solely dependent on the manufacturer’s requirements for the product(s) purchased and make sure you review and are familiar with the terms, language, and/or requirements for any applicable manufacturer's warranty.

Is There a Labor Warranty?

No, we do not directly provide any labor warranties or compensation of any kind for any costs incurred by the consumer due to malfunction of any part(s) for any products sold on our site. In most cases, the installing professional may be able to provide additional purchasable labor warranties. Please inquire with them on pricing and availability.

If any product purchased from HVACDirect.com should result in failure upon installation or not operate after installation, we are only responsible for supplying the part(s) warranted by the manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty above and beyond the manufacturer's warranty as to parts.

We have partnered with CPS that offers extended warranties for eligible products on our site. This warranty will cover the unit as well as labor for repairs. The extended warranty can be added to your order at the time of your equipment purchase or up to one year after your order. For more information about this service, please click here.

How We Provide Warranty Parts

We provide warranty replacement parts for any units that have been purchased through our site and units that are still under the manufacturer's warranty. If the warranty part request is after 30 days of the original install, we will request that you purchase the warranty replacement part(s). You will receive a refund on that charge once we receive the original part back. Any shipping will be an extra charge.

Upfront Payment: After 30 days of install, customers will be charged an upfront fee for the replacement part(s), including shipping and tax, at the time the replacement parts are ordered. Before we can process your parts request, we may require extra information which includes but not limited to model number, serial number, order number, installation invoice, diagnostic reports, as well as other supporting documentation.

In order to receive a refund for the replacement parts, you will need to ship the original part back to the address below. Once we have received the original part back, we will issue a refund for the part(s) only. Failure to ship to the address below or include the correct RMA information might cause delays in the refund process.
