FAQ's

Customer Questions

Who makes ACiQ?

ACiQ air conditioning systems, standard heat pumps, and gas furnaces are manufactured by the largest HVAC manufacturer in America, who also happens to be the seller of the nation’s #1 brand. However, because our prices are SO LOW, they will not allow us to mention their name! They must protect their current market share where typical home systems retail between $15,000 to $25,000 for the identical equipment that we let you buy direct for under $3,000. We offer homeowners and contractors the highest quality and best warranty HVAC systems in the industry at the absolute lowest price. With our industry-leading, high-tech ACiQ equipment, your home and your savings just got a whole lot smarter!

What happens if this breaks down?

Lifetime technical support is included with your equipment purchase, and many common issues can be resolved with a simple phone call. As an authorized equipment dealer, all products carry the full manufacturer's warranty covering all replacement parts. Products must be registered online to extend the warranty coverage to the full 10-year term; otherwise, the standard warranty term is 5 years. If a part fails while under warranty, there is no cost for the replacement part. Should a part fail during the warranty period, first have a licensed HVAC professional diagnose and confirm which part requires replacement. Once confirmed, reach out to customer support via email or phone to process the replacement part request.

What happens if it arrives damaged?

If you are present during drop-off and you see obvious signs of damage or rough handling in transit - please ask the driver to wait while you inspect the equipment. If it is damaged badly enough that you believe it can not function, you have the right to refuse the damaged portion of the shipment. If you discover the damage after the driver has left, take photos of the damage and send them to [email protected]. Please refer to your order number in the email. This starts the process and one of our representatives will be in touch with you promptly.

How can I find an installer?

It’s easier than you think – the key is to find an independent contractor or small company as opposed to a larger HVAC service. A one or two person outfit will do the work more quickly and cheaply than a bigger company, too. Yelp.com, Thumbtack.com, and Porch.com are websites are designed to help you connect with a professional in your area. You could also place a call to the last professional who did work on your home and see if they have any recommendations.

Should I order a new lineset?

Our top recommendation – protect your investment by replacing your lineset when you replace your air conditioning. Leftover oil and or contaminants in the old lineset can enter your new system and reduce the lifespan. If, on the other hand, you wish to avoid replacing the lineset, we do carry flush kits to clean out incompatible oils and contaminants.
