What is EZ Connect?

EZ Connect refers to the self-install feature of the ACiQ mini split system. The air handlers line sets and condenser are all pre-charged with refrigerant, eliminating the need for refrigerant handling usually reserved for a professional. This means that anyone can install the system with the right accessories and proper instructions.

Features

The 12,000 BTU single zone wall-mounted air handler is ideal for spaces ranging from 400 to 550 square feet in most climates*. The pre-charged EZ connect line set is 25 feet long, and technical support is available to all ACiQ customers. The system is 100% sealed and pre-charged, and EnergyStar certified. The package includes the 12,000 BTU outdoor compressor, wall-mounted air handler, 25 EZ Connect pre-charged line set, smart controller kit, and installation accessories. The system also comes with an industry-leading 5-year parts and 12-year compressor warranty when installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and registered online. ACiQ mini split systems are WiFi-compatible, and the free NetHome Plus app allows you to easily control your home's comfort from anywhere with your smartphone or tablet.

Is ACiQ better than Mitsubishi?

Mitsubishi makes great equipment, certainly. They were first to sell mini splits in the US, and they have a solid reputation. Yet ACiQ has higher SEER ratings, longer warranty, and extreme weather performance all the way down to -22! You can spend more on a mini split, but you can't get better value.

Filter location and is it removable?

My room is already set up with line sets. Do I still need the pre-charged line set?

What is the low ambient outdoor temp for heat?

Thank you for your question. This unit features low temperature operation and a durable gold fin condenser coating. It can efficiently heat with outdoor temperatures as low as -5 degrees Fahrenheit. It can efficiently cool with outdoor temperatures as high as 122 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit also offers a high SEER of 22. For more assistance, please give us a call.

What is the starting current and max running current?

Thank you for your question. The electrical specifications for this unit are 115V 1 Phase 60 Hz. The system requires a max breaker size of 20 amps and a minimum breaker size of 15 amps.
