In most system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler exceeds that of the condenser, ensuring optimal efficiency. Please note that this condenser solely provides cooling and requires an indoor coil or air handler to function.

Note: Due to new efficiency requirements, this unit cannot be installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

The 96% AFUE signifies that 96% of the gas used by the furnace is utilized for heating your home, with only 4% lost through flue piping and normal operations. It's important to note that furnaces with an efficiency of 90% or higher require plastic/PVC flue venting. If your installation necessitates metal flue venting, an 80% efficient furnace would be suitable. While this unit operates on natural gas by default, we offer an optional LP conversion kit at an additional cost.

Please be aware that this furnace is not compliant with Ultra Low NOx regulations. If shipped to California, it may be subject to a mitigation fee.

In certain packages, the coil may be larger than its paired condenser, resulting in increased overall efficiency for the entire unit. However, it's important to note that the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser. Please be aware that this item requires a compatible condenser and blower or furnace, which are available at an additional cost and cannot operate independently.
